Telluride (So this is what married life feels like)

This month I had the extreme luck and privilege to fly in and out of Telluride, CO. My days at work normally consisted of getting up around 8:30, two turns in and out of Telluride, and getting done around 5:00pm. What a change from my usual schedule! I actually got to be home every night with my wife. It made me feel like a real husband. It was like getting a taste of what a normal job would be like without actually having to sit behind a desk all day. To be honest, it would make sitting behind a desk all day worth it. Not to mention if I actually got paid a decent salary. But I digress.

On my last day doing Telluride turns, the weather was gorgeous. So instead of the normal "chop and drop" over the northern rim, my captain took me around the East side of the ski area, over Ouray, and in from the South for a landing on runway 27. Bonus: I was able to get it all on video. Granted it's not as impressive as being in the actual plane and watching mountains loom past either side of you, but just bear with the longish video and use a little imagination.
